How F.I.F.T.H. Report makes editorial decisions.

Editorial Independence

F.I.F.T.H. Report is editorially independent.

No advertiser, sponsor, affiliate, or outside party decides what gets published, how an article is framed, or what conclusion the research reaches. The publication is funded by subscribers.

Research Standards

Research begins with primary sources. SEC filings, earnings transcripts, investor presentations, and company disclosures come before secondary summaries.

Secondary sources can help with context. They do not replace the source material.

Management statements are not treated as fact just because management said them. Claims are tracked over time and measured against actual results.

Conflicts and Holdings

When F.I.F.T.H. Report holds a position in a security discussed in an article, that position is disclosed at the top of the article before the analysis begins.

Readers should evaluate the research with that disclosure in mind.

F.I.F.T.H. Report does not publish research for the purpose of moving the price of any security.

Opinion vs. Evidence

F.I.F.T.H. Report separates evidence, inference, and judgment.

When a claim is supported by filed evidence, that is stated. When a conclusion requires inference or analytical judgment, that is acknowledged.

Readers should think critically about the work, not accept it without question.

AI Use
